SO CLOSE!!! Im most excited for grassy fiddly LATE NTIES that only HIGH SIERRA provides on the west coast! I would truly be lost without these! So Im most stoked for Leftover Salmon and Cornmeal late nites, fri and sat!! It will be fun to experience the GRASS ROCK DANCE craziness of Cornmeal in the Jamhouse instead of the Hall. But the Hall is still my fave!! WOOHOO!!!
Im really stoked on driving into Quincy and seeing that steam come up from the mill knowing that you all are there and ready to have the music control us for 4 days!!!
Im super excited to witness Izabella bust out some beauts on the Vaudeville Tent stage on Sunday night to close the fest, I love those guys and they SO deserve this chance to shine!!!
Im excited about hearing some new electro sounds to my ears: Delhi 2 Dublin and Pretty Lights, I love that music what I have heard on line and I am beyond stoked to hear it live!!!
Cant wait to bee under the tree on that lawn!
KICKBALL with Vince and izabella and everyone else involved is gonna be a HOOOT!

I just peaked at their tour schedule and looks like HSMF is open.....so its a possibility, but I just dont see the guys having the Scrilla to even attend High Sierra......its expensive for starving musicians.....unless someone is going to gift them in..... -

Nonmusically ~ definitely echo many thoughts above. Seeing YOU there, bouncing from camp to camp, smiling 'til my cheeks hurt, hooking up with long lost freaky family, meeting new friends, hugging sacks of ice on the way back to the camp coolers to get a quick cold fix, swimming in the heat of the day, watching the sunset behind the main stage, the gyros, the fondue party, all of the copious sharing of all things good with one another... yeah, I second "EVERYTHING!" : ) -

Thu, June 25, 2009 - 12:47 PMOh, I really hope he gets out his bugle and plays Reveille at 7 am like he did last year. ;o) I think that's the only time I've ever seen anyone go out of their way to be a jerk at High Sierra. Well, except some of the cops during the bad years.
If that dude is there I will go offer him a beer as a peace offering right away and hope he behaves like an adult. -
